Sundar Pichai, is an Indian-American business executive. He is the chief executive officer of Alphabet Inc. and Google.
Born in Madras, India, Pichai earned his degree from IIT Kharagpur in metallurgical engineering.
Pichai began his career as a materials engineer. Following a short stint at the management consulting firm McKinsey & Co., Pichai joined Google in 2004, where he led the product management and innovation efforts for a suite of Google's client software products, including GoogleChrome and Chrome OS, as well as being largely responsible for Google Drive.
In addition, he went on to oversee the development of other applications such as Gmail and Google Maps.
In 2010, Pichai also announced the open-sourcing of the new video codec VP8 by Google and introduced the new video format, WebM.
The Chromebook was released in 2012. In 2013, Pichai added Android to the list of Google products that he oversaw.
Sunder pichai always had learned from problems,he never thought that problems give tension, if problems solved in proper way they are the steps towards success.
I will tell one incident of Sunder Pichai. When he and his wife were called for dinner at one place, they both decided to go, but as Sunder pichai was busy at office he told to his wife that you go for the dinner from home I will come from office for dinner.
Sunder pichai was late. He missed the directions. He was going in wrong directions. But after moving for long time he reached the correct place.
But his wife was angry, and in result Sunder pichai had to spend his night in his office. After sitting on his chair he was thinking that like me many people must be having such problems were they miss their path or direction. So Sunder pichai invented Goggle Maps to solve the problem.
Like this sunder pichai got success. He solved the problems of life and day by day taking step towards success.
When we search on Goggle anything we get result in fraction of seconds that had helped to us and Goggle to to develop.
Pichai was selected to become the next CEO of Google on August 10, 2015, after previously being appointed Product Chief by CEO, Larry Page.
On October 24, 2015, he stepped into the new position at the completion of the formation of Alphabet Inc., the new holding company for the Google company family. He was appointed to the Alphabet Board of Directors in 2017.
Sunder pichai give more importance to feedback. He says that taking feedback and implementing on it is best way to improve and upgrade.
There is one more story on it. I will tell.
One day in canteen to boys were eating their burger. And beside them an employee of Goggle company was sitting. And at that time the Goggle had introduced their emojis.
So the 2 boys told to the employee that the emoji of burger which you have made is wrong. It's not looking good. The employee got angry and scolded the 2 boys.
And after that the employee told sunder pichai about 2 boys. He instructed that call that 2 boys in my cabin I want to talk.
2 boys were scared that the CEO of Google had called us, they came in the cabin and sunder asked whats the problem in the emoji of burger, they told nothing, sunder asked again in some what loud voice.
Now they said the true problem about the emoji and sunder told to the team and instructed to work on it
Like this he had taken the feedbacks and worked on it.
So I just want to tell you that don't take problems as the tension, take them as the step towards success.
So be capable and try to solve the problem smartly.
Be calm, and have patience in your life. Sunder pichai was also calm and is having patience.
You must take feedbacks from your customers to improve your bussiness or anything.
